54" Deck rebuild

I was pleasantly surprised to see that my bargain 2084 came with a 54" deck, rather than the 48" I thought I was getting. But it was badly rusted, and all the spindles were locked up. It is model 190-324-100.

So now it's apart, ready to sandblast and clean up. Lots of rust.
I have a few questions.

Those rollers at front and rear, center - what is the original diameter? I think I have some Delrin that is about the right size.

The bearing on the idler pulley is 1" OD and 3/8" ID. Is that available separately?

What are you guys using for belts - OE from CC, or is there a Gates number that works well for the deck as well as the PTO?

Something is missing from the underside. All that is left is two bolts holding rectangular tabs which were once part of whatever is missing. I suspect it is a baffle. I see nothing on the exploded diagram on the CC parts site.

The rollers for the center of the deck is Part Number 731-3005.

The idler pulley does NOT have a separate bearing. That bearing is stamped in between the two layers of sheet metal to make an assembly, 756-3005.

There is a Baffle, being: 703-2093C

Belts??, the Spindle Belt is 954-3045 (A-Sect x 122.0") and IMHO, would be OK it use an aftermarket belt. The Mule Drive (PTO) Belt is: 954-3047 C-Sect X 95.3"). I would ONLY use CC belts on this.

But what is the original diameter of the roller?

I have changed out the bearing on my 48" deck which (I think) uses the same pulley. It's 1" OD and 3/8" ID, which means I probably won't have a standard bearing to replace it. I don't recall what I used in the other deck. I'll probably have to buy the pulley, or make one that uses a standard bearing. hmmmm.

I'll get one of the Gates green belts for the deck, and order a CC belt for the PTO.
Probably will have to order the baffle too, unless someone here has a used one.

Are you talking about the bearing for the idler pulley on the deck? You can drill the welds, split the pulley and replace the bearing and then weld it up. I can give you a number if that's what you're after.

I do it a bit different. I turned the crimp off one side. Bearing is out, but I had nothing that will work.
