Default My first ever auction
I scored this tiller today at an auction pretty cheap... but I missed out on an H48 snowblower that sold for $5. Two pulls and it started right up and I ripped a path in my garden effortlessly. It’s been repowered with a Briggs 8HP engine.

I’m getting ready to convert a belt drive tiller to self powered. Your way is way smarter!

To clarify, I only got the tiller. The tractor I have it on is my 1912, just like an 1872 but no power steering. It's more like a 982.

I sold a tiller quite similar not too long ago with a 8hp Briggs. I thought the engine was original
from the factory? Was a pretty darn cool piece of
equipment. I can't believe you could buy something for that price.

sorner. was this a Cub auction or just all things yard and farm? So far I've found five Cubs within a 500 mile radius and it sounds like there if you throw a rock you'll hear the "DING" of it hitting a Cub fender.

twoton, I'll likely be starting the tiller conversion in Mid April. Right now I'm building an old drag disc into a sleeve mount; besides the loader project. Currently making the wooden bearings.
