Default IH Cub Cadet 107 Hydro tranny fluid

My Cub Cadet dealer sold me 737-3120 Drive System Fluid last year and said it was same as old Hy-Tran. Does this actually replace Hy-Tran? Or should I drain it out and find some HY-Tran fluid? Seemed to develop a slow leak after a couple of months. Only place I see to purchase is IH Case dealer who is not within 30 miles.

I don't see anything except your reply. I click on fluid and only see your reply.
no information. Does not answer my question. No Case IH dealer near me. It's no wonder everybody is substituting other oil. All I get is a stupid look from the Cub dealer.

Try clicking on the word "Fluid" at the end of the sentence

I believe that is the synthetic blend system plus. It is not the correct oil but it will work. It was probably twice the price of Hytran or 5 times the price of TSC Hytran equivalent. If you put it in already it won't harm anything. That oil is for the newer Cub Cadets built from 1998 on.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
