I came across a thread on another site where there was info on a kwick way loader and they make one for the 1811 Does anybody have a front end loader on their 1811 if so how is the tractor holding up? How does it handle using the loader? Is the loader worth spending money on for the 1811? I have a ford 8n with a loader but if I got a loader for the cub I wouldn"t have a need for two tractors taking up space. I know he with the most toys in the end wins but for some reason the little woman doesn't agree with that you should have seen here when I brought home the 1811 parts tractor.

If you want to use the tractor for other things that a loader, don't put a loader on it. For obvious reasons you can't put a mower deck or any front-mounted attachments on it while the loader is attached. The tractor can handle it just fine. If you go looking for one, try to get one that originally came on a Cub Cadet of the same style and that isn't all kludged together unless you are handy with metal fabrication. Beware of one that's been modified by a previous owner, as most people that do stuff like that don't know how to do it right, and make something that will eventually break the tractor.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
