1650 P.T.O. question
I am installing the pto and I cannot get the gaps right and I look here http://www.onlycubcadets.net/forum/showthread.php?t=30 and I see that I am behind the 8 ball again thanks to the P.O.
On the hub assy that drives the mower it looks like there is a friction disk (the part colored in yellow) is there anyway to just get that part or do I need the whole hub? What I have is metal to metal right now and I am sure that is not good.

Both the driving hub and driven disc are completely metal. If you have the nuts loosened all the way and you still can't get an air gap, you may need to shim the driven disc/pulley assembly outward a bit. The shims are NLA but you can make one by grinding down the OD of a 1" ID shim washer. The shim would go between 2 and the hub of 3.
