Any pictures of your cable set up?? Well, I got the right size bolts today, but I think they are going to be too long! Might have to frig around and turn the one on the right side the other way with the head to the outside so the lift arm or cable set up will clear it. I think I am going to have to bite the bullet on this one and make the strap that attaches to the lift handle, I can not really see any other good way around it unless Cub Cadet 123 has it figured out with the cable and NOT having to use that strap/bracket? Here is what I ended up with tonight so far. Can't work on it any longer, the bbq is just about finished cooking my supper! DSCN3103.jpg DSCN3104.jpg DSCN3111.jpg DSCN3117.jpg DSCN3110.jpg Nothing like cobbling things eh! I have the manual for installing it, but when I don't have all the parts needed, it makes it pointless almost!

Mike, you'll need the bracket to attach the lifting rod for your blade. Here's a pic.

| Anyone have the dimensions for the spacing and size of these holes? How much of an off set is the one end? Blade hardware.jpg blade hardware II.jpg I am going to go with the idea its about 10 - 10-1/2" long overall since its on an 8-1/2"x11" sheet of paper. But I need the distance between the holes and the diameter of them if anyone has this info? Appreciate it!

The holes are easy to figger out...the larger one is the same size as the rock shaft dia.,the other 2 holes are the same dia. as the lift rod. The offset is the thickness of the lift arm. Does this help...

You have the distance between the holes? I just have to figure out the angle, cause I am thinking the angle the lift handle is on my 100 isn't "stock"? Might have to do a little adjustment afterwards. Will see what the guys at the steel yard say, will get it bent close, perhaps a little help from the hammer in a vice afterwards might help things line up if needed?

So you gonna make me go out in the garage and do this? Be right back. Okay I am back . The distance between the holes are from the bottom,It is 11/16 to the large hole. Then 4.25" from the big hole that is 3/4" to the small one that is 1/2",the other hole is 2 3/8" and is 1/2" also .These are from center to center measurements. Now wouldn't be easier to buy one from me as The radius of the bend and the location of them to attach to the lift arm are hard to measure...unless some one has a good drawing of it...

Well.....IF I had known you had one to sell..... I would have taken you up on it! I called the steel yard this morning, sent them a drawing. Will see at lunch time how I make out! I hope what I have drawn out with your info and from what I had from pictures before - it will work. Need to put that 100 to work tonight pushing top soil and crushed stone. The wife is going to start that her deck isn't being built. We tore down the old one on the weekend and now I am getting ready to build a new one. Hope to have part of it finished by the weekend if all goes well after work each night?? Have a picture or two from the weekend of putting the 100 and #4 trailer to work. Should hunt them down Soooo..... darkminion_17.... If my attempt at getting the bracket made today doesn't work. I will be knocking on your door! I am going to try the blade the way I have it hooked up. I don't think I need the extension tabs for the front. After putting the tie rod ends on the top side, I have enough clearance so far. If it works for this job, that is the main thing. Can fart around with it afterwards when I have more time. Wish me luck!

I was able to get the guys at the steel yard to make up the piece for me yesterday. Picked it up at lunch and only cost $25.00. Will have to get a picture of it, it turned out pretty good. I just had to round off the corners so I wouldn't spaz out some day and rip my shin open getting on or off the tractor. Thank you to all who did measuring, taking pictures, and throwing in their own past issues and experience. I was able to use my blade last night! Now just need to get some rust cleaned off it to make the soil roll off it better. That will be next project after the deck is done. Cause the wife is for her deck back so she can enjoy a coffee in the morning before work. I guess I can't blame her, who wants to look at a pile of ground and old boards over coffee?

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
