...and patiently waiting, for SNOW.
So yeah it's the middle of November in SE MI and snow is sorta rare this time of year, but it's been known to happen before. With average temps in the high 50s low 60s it feels a long way off. After a mild winter last year of not much snow and a punishing summer of no rain, we not only need the snow I want to get seat time and push it around. The great lakes are at some of the lowest they've ever been. People are having to drill new wells because of the lack of water. So until it cools way down and the flakes start piling up, my cub sits patiently waiting while I try to calm my anxious nerves. Thanks for reading my mini (is rant the right word?)

We got some yesterday; enough to pepper rooftops and cover car hoods/windshields, and some grassy areas, but not enough to move around. Nor was it as much as Eastern Michigan's football game (approx. 20 miles west of me) that had the field covered so the lines were no longer visible.
It's a start. (BTW this was after Thanksgiving was 60 degrees.)

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
