Well, I've just been itching to get some seat time on the Cubs, doing anything that doesn't involve snow.
![]() But, here in northeast Ohio it's been raining just about every day and it's too stinking wet to get out and do anything at all. It didn't rain today, so I jumped on the 1000 to give the lawn a much-needed cutting. No dice. I only made a few passes and the turf tires started to slip so I headed for the barn and parked it. At least I got to hear it run...heck, I even started the 149 just to get a fix. ![]() Can any of you feel my pain??

been getting a lot of rain here too. Last 2 days were dry , so today I got to mow. The grass is thicker and growing faster than I remember last year. Starting to get out of hand . I mow my neighbor's yard too. It has 3 springs in it, so its always mucky. Been scared to go over it and get stuck with my turfs. I hoped to get some ags this year, but didn't pan out. Hope you get on the seat soon!

I was able to make a maiden cut with the 1450 last week, but ended up getting the thing stuck bad in a soft spot.
We are under flood warnings here and have been getting hammered with rain. We have gotten over an inch just in the last 24 hours. I have had enough, and that was last week. I'm sick of waiting for the showers to stop. I was going to haul in a load of scrap iron today to make a little extra cash but it poured all day. Hoping I can run it sometime tomorrow.

Ive had some good luck and mowed my yard and several others at least three times now. All this rain and other strom related weather has realy got the grass growing here. Now if only we can get some streaches of rain free days so i can mow it all again
but thankful for the seat time Im getting! wont be long till i mow the hay field next door, its already reaching the top of the hood on my 1811 . But i agree, wet yards suck even with ag tires!

Wettest April on record,
monsoon season for sure! We are all wanting to get on with planting crops, but sitting on our hands. At least I don't have to cut grass, as I can't even walk on it. But the ducks & geese are enjoying it. |

2 inches in two days, I missed the bad stuff early this morning. Bretty good damage 45 minutes south of Me and 6 to 8 inches of rain last night 70 miles west of here. Bet the creeks are full this morning!! There is more in Ark/ Miss coming this way so a break for a few hours and then back into the rough stuff. The really bad stuff is suppossed to be an hour south of me, but still a good chance here, hopr the sun doesn't pop out, that always makes it worse. I have mowed MIL and my yard 3 times and needs it now, mowed MIL the last time in a drizzle and even with the U deck with no baffles it looked good.

The sun is already out, that's great, nothing like a little/lot of sun to fire up those thunderstorms!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
