Default 1641 Project Question...Please Help.

I was given a '92 model 1641 a few years ago...just now working on getting it going. It lost its drive shaft during operation by the previous owner. So, I've bought a drive shaft and have gotten the engine running. I have not installed the drive shaft yet, due to the fact that I can't find where a rod connects to. Shown in the parts diagram, it's called "rod, dump valve up". As it sits, it's connected to the tranny via a u-shaped arm just above the tranny filter. I cannot find on the tranny where the other end connects. Not sure if I have other parts missing or not. Any help is appreciated. A picture of where it connects would be great. Thanks in advance!
