I'd really love to mow my field...
I bought a used 99 2150 AGS. It runs great but does a couple odd things.
First to start it you have to turn the key back and forth a few times until it decides to kick over. Once it does, it fires up beautifully. Then when its running I pull the PTO clutch switch and the mower fires up. After somewhere between 5 and 60 seconds later it kicks off. Seems electrical. I figured it was a safety switch so I disconnected the seat switch wires. It was a miracle I ran the mower for an hour and got my field mower. Then it kicked off on me again and its just as bad as ever if not worse. So now I'm not sure what is going on. I thought that was the only safety switch for the clutch. The brake switch might be for the ignition issue but why is the PTO cutting off? If anyone has a wiring diagram or a good guess I'm really hoping to be able to do more than pull my trailer around.
