Tried out my #1 tiller
Well i finally got my drive belt to line up on my 1450 and i was able to get it to run the gear box for my tiller. but there is a catch. i have no Electric PTO. i have a live pulley on the front because i can not afford the $400 clutch. (PO left me with no parts to work with. just a shaft more or less) i used it this was all winter to throw snow making sure to be very careful( i have storys about that, and lessons learned as well) so when my engine is running my tiller is running.
Now for the second catch..... i have no sleeve hitch. that means the tiller rests on the ground.... always. Impossible to do you may say, au contraire. i blocked up the tiller, started the engine, slammed it forward, driving the tiller off the block onto the ground were it pushed me. right as i was comeing up to my "till zone" i go full throttle and start to slow it down to get the tines to dig in.. getting to the end of the row was interesting as well let me tell you.
