New to Cub Cadets!
Hi all,
I am just starting my CC adventure. My father in law was clearing out his space and asked me to haul a IH CC 149 away. I jumped on the Internet to figure out how I might get it running again and found this very useful forum. It appears I have had some good fortune! After a bit of work and some great info from the OCC forum I was able to get the 149 started and ran it around the yard a little. Both the hydro and engine seem to be strong. Next up is the manual PTO with brake...it feels like it is locked in the engaged mode. I was able to get it to move a little but I suspect it needs more movement to disengage. In the end I will probably need to install rebuilt unit once I get the rascal off. (Note in the pic below the inner PTO brake disc is removed) Thanks for help! -Vince N. (Boodog)
