Connecting Gear Box to back of 1650 for 1A Tiller

I have a cub cadet 1650 that I am putting a gear box and 1A tiller on the back of from a 1450. Having problems with hydro tran leaking after putting on the gear box. I used the same bolts from the 1450 as they were alittle longer and it is still leaking. Any thoughts on how to stop the leak? I do not want to torque the bolts too tight as I am afraid of doing damage. The leak appears to be coming from one of the bolt holes but I am not sure as it is hard to tell once the gear box is on. Any sealant or tape we should put on the bolts? Any assistance and guidance is appreciated.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
