Help me please, trading my 105 for a 71 need some info
Ok, I maybe trading my 105 for a 71. Just the tractors at this point. So here are my questions:
Now I have a QA42 deck, a 42 inch plow blade, a 3 point, a sleeve hitch adapter and a spring assist on the 105. Will all of these items work on the 71? I am not familiar yet as to how the pin on and quick attach stuff works Can the original 7 hp Kohler still be rebuilt, are the parts available from Kohler or Stens? Can the 71 handle the 42 inch deck? How hard is it to remove the three point from the 105? Finally I want a gear drive Cub for sure. Is the 105 for 71 trade a good one or should I do a 104 for the 105? I like the 71 because someday I would like to get the round fenders when I can afford them. Thanks for the help.
