Hydrostat question
I have a somewhat Hybrid Cub that I put together a few years ago, I bought a 582 special, 16hp briggs twin, it had a peerless transmission in it from the factory, when I got it the peerless transmission was in a box in a thousand pieces. at the time I also had a cub 1282 with a bad motor, so basicly I married the 2 together, I have built a small platform off the back of the tractor and have a 20 gallon sprayer on the back of it, I've got it set up to be able to use a spot sprayer or a spray bar with a 6 foot spray pattern. I use it around the farm and its has done an excellent job, now its starting to slow down under a load and speed up by itself, also when its off and tractor will roll if on a grade, I thought hydrostats were not supose to do that, anyway I have checked all the linkage and everything seems to be working fine, any ideas?
