Engine swap CH20 for M18

First time cub owner, first time forum user!
I either have my future tractor of my dreams, or a very large paper weight !
A few weeks ago I bought an 1872, with the magnum 18. I was told by the seller that the governor gear was bad and I may need to find a new motor.
The motor was already out and I decided to tear it down to see how bad, bad could get.-- yep pretty bad! So--- here's my question;
I have an opportunity to use a Kohler CH20, in place of the Kohler Magnum 18. I wondered if anyone out there has used this motor in a 1872 or similar tractor
and what problems I may encounter with; electrical connections, PTO, flex coupling, etc...
Any help would sincerely be appreciated !

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
