LB's 147 w/ K321
well for those who read my post about the K321 I rebuilt.
I Had troubles when turning engine over at One spot in the revolution. well to the advise of a couple of Guys I pulled the motor, then Pan, and then the Head. What was wrong is the bottom oil ring must have slipped out of the ring compressor and it bent upwards and created some damage to the cylinder. Not bad. but none the less. freekin ..... !!!!! well I guess it has been too long since I have rebuilt a motor. that was a rookie move on my part. Everything else is ok. I will check clearances of Rod cap when I get a new set of rings and a couple of gaskets. I think I will rebuild the steering box while I so conveniently have motor out of the way. so? the scenario, when in doubt pull balancing gears out? they have a little wobble but are way better than they were originally. he reused one bearing and replaced one bearing. the top appears to move {wobble) just a tad. bottom is fairly tight . wish I would have found this site a bit sooner in the game. there is a lot of different and conflicting info out there for sure. anyway thanks for the input.
