K241 or tranny problems?
Since I got it a month ago, I have thought there something just not right with my 102. Now its official. I had it out yesterday for a few hours actually, doing chores, and other things that a new mower couldnt do (haha). It started off running fine then as I used it, it began to bog down really easily in all gear and barely being able to move up the slightest hill. It was like I had a huge load of rocks or something behind it. I found myself not being able to go into third gear as it bogged and smoked when it was put in to third and even being weak in second. It also started having trouble getting up to RPM when not in gear and just overall wasn't running right. I don't know if it is the engine or the tranny because I was having clutch troubles and had to grind into a few gears unfortunately. When in a higher gear, there is also some moaning going on that sounds like a weak hydrostatic. Do I have something wrong with my cubby or is it just time to go through everything and rebuild?(hope not!) Thanks for reading my lengthly statemend and have a happy memorial day.
