Sea Foam will make it smoke blue..... How much did you add? That is probably the smoke.

Kick the premium gas. Use regular

Pull the tank, flush it out. Pull the carb and clean it. Tune it up: Spark plug, plug wire, points and condenser. You can file the points if they are still in good shape instead of replacement. Pull the head, decarbon the top end, plane it and install a new gasket. Time the ignition system. Tune the carb. I'd also suggest changing the rear end oil too.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
