Ever wanted to set your Cub on fire?
Better yet, put a stick of dynamite under it and watch it blow into thousands of pieces? Yeah, that's where Im at tonight with the 1864. Im so sick of working on a tractor every time I need to mow.
Okay, so as I mentioned in another thread, when I pulled the engine to clean it up, I replaced the head gaskets while it was out. Put the engine back in and went out and mowed with it for 20 minutes or so to put a heat cycle on the engine. It ran great! Better than ever. Fast forward to tonight and I pulled the tins and valve covers to re-torque the heads. Put it back together an now it wont start. When I turn the key, I hear the fuel shut off solenoid clicking and that's it. Nothing else. Nothing with the starter. I didn't touch anything electrical so nothing has changed since it last ran. I don't even know where to begin as electrical is most definitely a weakness for me. I do know all the safety features have been bypassed because the tractor will run or start regardless of the PTO, brake, seat, etc. Other than the seat, I don't even know where to begin checking these bypasses because I don't know where they are. Help please!!
