Glad you have your tractor running again BassBlaster! Hopefully you will find your real issue before this leaves you stranded with your yard half done. Intermittent electrical problems suck trying to figure out.
I'm also glad your tractor was never used for a bon fire, but I can relate. I remember once my uncle had a used old lawn tractor that he got cheap and constantly had to work on. He got so frustrated with it that one day he left it running and in gear, jumped off and shot it with his 9mm until it stopped driving in a cloud of smoke. I think it was justifiable homicide if I remember correctly! Sometimes you have to appreciate living in the country! I don't recall every completely destroying anything out of frustration like that, but many years ago I was upgrading the suspension of my beloved 1978 Chevy 4x4. My tool collection consisted of a lot of Chinese junk. After the 4th or 5th tool broke and I left a large chunk of knuckle skin on the frame, and I gathered everything in my tool box that was marked "made in China" and threw them as hard as I could into the corn field next to my house. I always wondered if the farmer found them or not. They should have just about rusted far enough by now to be reclaimed by nature, which is where they should have stayed to begin with. |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
