I had thought I had signed up on this site a long time ago, but I guess I'm just a newbie. I grew up with an original in NY, and had a 129 for a while. The 1440 we got new when the 129 was giving too much trouble, and the 104 came from NY when my mother didn't need it any more.

1440 is down right now. Had a fuel pump issue, and got a bad one. Chased out the fuel lines and valve, and had to do the fuel pump again. It started pumping, and the the starter quit. This was the night before a hip replacement, so it will be a few weeks before I get back to it.

The 104 is actually quite reliable. Carb is bad on it. It hates the ethanol fuel. Burns a little oil. However, it's the one that is running.
