42" mower deck (got 'er done)
I got this deck and mule drive given to me (Lew price) all in pieces, from a friend, who I do all kinds of work for. He has more parts and stuff from all kinds of farm machinery than one could imagine (a tinkerers dream). I had shown him the 125 that I redone and he asked me if I had a deck for it. I told him "no" and he gave me this.
 Deck1.jpg So, after a little sand blast, wire wheel and sanding disk. It's a nice day and it's ready for primer. Needed a paint rack.  Here it is.Deck2.jpgDeck3.jpgDeck4.jpgDeck5.jpg Well, it's still a nice day so it's time to paint.  And then, it started to drip rain, just when I painted the last part.  Got it all in before anything got ruined.  Deck7.jpgDeck6.jpg I checked the bearings and pulleys (all in good shape) and a few days later, put it together. Shoved it under the tractor, ready to install.  These car lifts really work great.  Deck8.jpg And there it is, folks, ready to kill grass!!!!!  Deck9.jpgDeck10.jpgDeck11.jpg I think a few of you guys are wondering, "OH Yeah, it looks pretty ..................but does it work?" Well let me tell ya. Yep, it works better than my GREEN one.
