Going price for a nice 169?
Hey guys, new to the forum but not to Cubs. About seven years ago I went through and did a ground up restoration on a 149 and a 169. Every nut and bolt was gone through and motors were rebuilt. My brother in law ended up wanting the 149 when I was finished. I still have the 169 but it really has only sat around and collected dust. I've only taken it to one show and space is getting tight so I'm considering selling it. I tried to do some research but didn't really find much on them I believe due to the rarity.
What would you guys put for a starting price if it were yours? I'm trying to decide if I want to sell it or just use it around the yard and keep it for my son when he gets a little bit older. I have a 48" deck and carriage for it along with the original front tires/wheels which I painted along with the tractor. The original rear tires I robbed for another project. Rear rims were cut and widened, then powdercoated. Inner fenders were cut and narrowed. Block is a 13 fin and I played around with a little mild porting when I was rebuilding it. Everything was sand blasted, primed and painted with Cub Cadet paint. A lot of time and detail was put into this build.
