Snow blade lift rob bracket abortion

I've never paid any attention because it has worked for 8 years or so. Recently when I was installing my snow blade on the 1811 I paid closer attention to the lift bracket and noticed it didn't look quit right. It appears the lift rod is shorter then its supposed to be so the P.O. hand to do a little rigging to get it to work. I guess I'll add this to the cub todo list. The picture doesn't show real well but if you look theres two different style brackets bolted on top of each other. One is a bracket with a slot which probably allows the plow to float. The other is the bracket that mounts on the plow it self.
