John,
It uses liquid Co2 and Nitrogen. It would run on compressed air but there's not enough storage for it to run long.It uses a series of valves and solenoids which are regulated at 150/250 and 350 psi. The body and chassis are all handmade and fabricated by me.I fabricated the grille from flat aluminum plate.Took me ten years to build. The body started out life as liquid fiberglass in a can.No molds,All sculpted by hand.I machined and made the motor and air valve components from scratch. It has two air tanks for the Co2 to expand before going into the drive motor. It has two 10lbs Liquid Co2 tanks and one 10lb nitrogen tank,The nitrogen helps the Co2 expand faster. It also has and onboard air compressor that drives from the rear axle.It does two things,It can be adjusted up to 375psi and used to assist the Co2 to the air motor when at high speed and can be used as a braking system also if needed.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
