Had a member wanting to see more of my old IH's.
My 1973 IH 1210 Travelette. I has an IH 392 gas motor with a IH T34 5speed OD manual trans. It also has GM TBI fuel injection so starts and runs evertime no more carb. It has a NP205. I swapped in a GM Dana 60 front and a 14 bolt rear with Detroit locker. Its on 35's with a 6'' GM lift. Paint isn't to bad for what it is not a show truck I use it! Also has factory A/C that works! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Oh and for the northern guys. We get snow like 1-2 times a year and there is no salt save for on free way over passes and that is rare. So no worries on rust from salt down here so I drive it in the snow!! Right now I tore into the front clip to redo the radiator and powder coat the inner fenders and core support. So its getting put back together. My 1973 Scout II currently sitting on my rotisserie getting restored. I had a 6.0L LS in it with a 4L80e. But had rust issues so its getting rebuilt. Looking at going with the Gen V LT based 5.3L or 6.2L and 8L90 trans...

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
