I haven't been to Canada since they didn't want to let me and my girlfriend
( now my wife) back in, about 52 years ago.
Looking back, I should've just stayed there!! Ha,LOL!
Here comes the good part George... They like it a lot! The young man (early thirty) was amazed and asked me ton's of questions I told him I have a headache driving almost 6hrs from NJ to pickup my first SGT, he wanted to know how much I paid for it and how many GT I have, he wanted to know if this was my retirement plan! I told him I try to avoid talking about it in front of the lady sitting next to me in the truck! Josy made fun of it and we all laughed a lot, next thing I knew he just told me how fantastic my hobby was and wished me a safe trip home! Nothing more!

Like I already said, some people make your day!

If you come to pickup a Cub in Canada I have to do the same for you, both side of the fence do that, who knows if you didn't steal that Cub from a guy like me?

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
