Ok still not solved I have replaced the gas tank,carb and air cleaner from another working 2072. The engine would not turn over as the cylinders filled with gas from a bad fuel pump. The oil was full of gas also. I blew out the cylinders, changed oil and filter and put on a new fuel pump. After all that I still have problem. The tractor starts and runs for about 20-30 seconds then dyes. I can bottle feed through the carb and keep it running. Also I took the line off the carb when cranking the gas flows out the end but is not blowing out only maybe a 1/2 inch from end not sure if it should be more. At this point I'm not sure where to go next. Is the new pump bad? Should it have more pressure? It starts and runs just won't keep running.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens.
