2182 Starting Problems

Hello Gents,

I am having an issue with my 2182 starting. I have the key and push button start on this rig and I started it up yesterday and it cut off immediately. Now it wont start at all but it will crank over. It seems to be an electrical issue but I am just wondering where i should look first as to if there is a common issue? I think the key switch is okay but who knows. All i know is when i turn the key over and get ready to start, i should have the fuel pump running and the low oil light on but i dont even hear anything click on when i turn the key switch on. It turns over. I have voltage going to the switch. Any suggestions? Anyone's help is really appreciated. Thanks!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
