George, back when I last worked on a blower with a Tecumseh, (4 or 5 years ago) those China knock off's weren't around. I looked EVERYWHERE for a new carb. I ended up with that blower. Customer gave it to me and went and bought a new one. I may look it up now and see if I can get a new el-cheapo carb. If I can... that baby will be fixed and on C-list! (Probably next winter right after a big snow, lol!!)

Well, when you bury the front end into a snow drift, you have to let the thing chew it up and spit it out. You didn't include a video, so I will say that is normal. You said the issue started a week or so ago... so, does it run now like it did before? Better? Worse? If it's better, I'd say you're golden. If it's worse, you still need to work on it. If you don't know.... then run it and don't feed it so fast! LOL.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
