No more dogs.
We had to put our chocolate lab down yesterday, she has been having a number of issues for a while now and it finally got to the point where she could barely walk. We buried her up at my parents place near our black lab that passed away two years ago. I know people always say no more dogs at times like this but I really mean it, both of my labs had serious health issue and I just don't want to go through that again. No more vets, no more vet bills, no more watching dogs wither away to nothing, no more making decisions like the one we had to make yesterday. Maddy was a good girl when she wasn't ass deep in the garbage can and we could always count on her to clean up whatever was dropped on the floor. She loved Pop tarts and pizza crust and the crust from my boy's pb&j sandwich. I'm not much of a believer but I really hope there is a heaven and that my little girls have found each other and are happy and healthy and playing like they use to.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
