My 2 Twin 682's!! Restore jobs....
Hi all!! New to this site. Can't believe I actually found a website for our tractors!
Anyway, I picked up these old girls from a co-worker of mine for $200.00. The package came with 2 682's, 3-50" cut decks, and 1 set of wheel weights. Both engines are the Series 1 and do need rebuilds.  The one runs but smokes like crazy, I assume its a broken ring on one of the cylinders. The other was locked up from sitting so long, but was able to free it up. Although the cylinder walls are a little scored from all of that. I hope to revive both of them. If not, I will end up using one for parts. Both tractors are mainly complete. Its surprising that they came with all the engine shrouds. Anyway, I plan on repainting both, and rebuilding both engines. I am very excited about these things. I grew up with a 882 diesel that my dad bought for mowing his 3 acres. Ever since, i have always liked the cubs. So when I ran across these, i couldn't resist... Anyway, on to the pics.
