Another new (old) guy here from CT.
Greetings everyone. I guess you could say I'm about to rejoin the fold of Cub Cadet enthusiasts. Due to the recent passing of my mother, I have inherited a 68 or so CC 104. This was purchased new by my dad waaaaaaaaaayyyy back then and my Mother had still been using it until this year. I picked it up Saturday. The 1 year old battery was dead but I may have saved it good enough to start it up and check it out.
It had a plow, but my mother gave it away  to a neighbor years ago so sooner or later I guess I'll be looking for one of those.Front tires are new, the rear tires are unbelievably original.  Considering the age I'd say it's in pretty good condition. I added a cable to connect a battery tender and changed the fuse for the headlights. I think it just gave up from old age, there's no shorts in the wiring.Just what I need. More old iron and another "hobby". I need a barn now.
