Friction control on hydro lever of CC149.

Do you know the size of the bolt that goes thru the clamp that secures the shaft on the hydro control/linkage? The original is a hard to reach, small allen bolt.

Can something else be used instead of the friction bushing IH-680521-R1 in this application? Mine is likely worn away.

PO stripped out the allen fitting and I need to tighten it up and figured I would just replace it with a nut and bolt that is easier to reach. I am also guessing the friction bushing needs replacing on my setup. Right now I have the shaft secured to a rod on the chassis with a zip tie.... it gives enough friction to stop the hydro from running away on me. I would like something more permanent though and I am cheap and dont want to spend 20 bucks for the bushing.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
