Rare Cub - 3000 Series
In today's searching, I have found a very rare Cub. This is from the last year International owned Cub Cadet. I texted the seller and the story is as follows.
His Dad bought the mower new in the 90's. The MTD rep came to the dealership and changed the decals to MTD. I tried to tell him that it is not possible but he was having none of that. Only thing I can figure is time travel is involved. I took screen shots and sent to him but he will not believe. Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
