First Cub Cadet! 147.
Hi everyone,
I think I might hold a dubious record for this forum!  What's the longest time between someone joining this forum, and then getting their first Cub Cadet?.. how about: twelve years!  oh well..I've been into vintage garden tractors and snowblowers for awhile now, and I've been mowing for 10 years with a 1964 Wheel Horse, but I've always wanted a Cub Cadet too..So I've been casually looking and researching Cub Cadets for years, and I already knew what range of models I would like.. but I finally made a dedicated effort to search this Spring..and this 147 popped up locally! I went out yesterday and bought it. Its complete and works!  it's going to become my primary mower, and I might trick it out for snow duty too..(although I already have a small collection of vintage Ariens snowblowers for that..so I'm not sure.) we'll see.Here she is! I'll probably have some questions for the group..  Thanks!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens.
