65 Cub Cadet 100 Plowing Snow
We had a big storm this weekend in Maine. 24+ inches storm total expected by tomorrow morning.
This summer my son bought a 1965 Cub Cadet 100. It has some cosmetic mods, like incorrect headlights, but we’re planning to restore it together. I also have an IH ’49 Farmall Cub and a ’44 Farmall M. Anyhow, I can’t believe how much this little tank can push the snow! This was a wet heavy snow and it did just fine. It has tire chains, but no wheel weights. We’d like to put double rear wheels on next year, with weight. I’m not sure what model this plow is, and if anyone can identify it from the video, that would be helpful. The tractor needs to be gone through completely, but it’s amazing how well it did! My son put about 5 hours on it this weekend. It really exceeded our expectations because the snow was just so wet and heavy. If you’d like to see it, you can see it on the link below. Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
