Rear Axle Brace

Sorry for resurrecting this thread, but I have an 1862 that I recently installed the Xtreme GT rear axle brace (cc-99-003) on. Everything installed easily and fits great! I was wondering if the single bolt on top and bottom of the front of the brace could still allow forward and backward movement of the rear? Or is it’s main purpose to eliminate frame twist? I would think it should have 2 bolts on top and bottom or be welded together. I’m plowing snow with my cub so I’m just making sure this rear is indestructible.
