QA36 Snow Thrower Restoration
Thought I would post some pictures of my QA36 snow thrower restoration.
What started as a little project, turned out to be a wee bit more. I ended up stripping my QA36 completely, sandblasting everything, priming/sealing it all, and then epoxy enamel paint. I have new needle bearings and auger bearings (from Cub Cadet Specialties) on the way, along with a new chain and 14 tooth drive gear. Decals will be purchased from Madson's Service. The auger/rotor was replaced "Thanks to Rich" at Patton Acres. The mounting bracket/gearbox will be completed soon and I will post more pictures then. It is going to be interesting this winter to see how the 102 handles the task. I have faith in the ol' 10 HP w/creeper and new AG tires.
