44a Mower Blades

The mower blades on my 44A seem to be stock blades however they look like bush hog blades as compared to my other mowers blades. The 44A blades are heavy duty and don't wear out like my other mowers blades do but also they don't seem to cut as well. The blades on my other mowers are the high lift type and the blades on the 44A appear to be just a flat blade. Have any of you used any high lift blades?

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
