If you say so. This packing slip got me to inquire and I contacted the same man. He had it it pulled out of the crate and emailed me pics. Navistar bought most of IH including it's headquarters.

Navistar may have bought the building and the contents, but they did not purchase anything related to the ownership or rights of the ag division OR Cub Cadet. I believe what you are showing and saying to be true, that they have some things left behind by IH, which is really cool. But they got it by default.

from what I can remember after IH sold the ag division to case they could not use the
International name for X number of years. all they did was change the name to Navistar. Navistar didn't buy out anyone. just the name changed from International Harvester to Navistar.

the Cub O at MTD, the seat spring is on backwards. they purchased that tractor for their adds some time back from a guy who had restored it. has the incorrect steering wheel to

It would appear that per the packing slip, Navistar sold off the CC #1 to another company. Along with 16 other crates.
But might be some sort of sister company to Navistar/International.

MTD rep was here today and looked at the tractor, asked him what IH cub stuff they had left. will have to wait till tomorrow for the answer as he got a call in the middle of the conversation

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
