GT3100 Hydro question (Bleeding system) after rearend repair.
GT 3100 with only 220 hours, I will explain what brings me to this question... last week was mowing was going up a grade ran over a tree root and the tractor quit moving and had no brakes. While running pressing the direction levers the brake drum would turn. I fearing the four bolts holding the differential together failed. Removed trans-axle and found that the right side hub was turning freely on the axle shaft. Removed hub (with puller) and found the splines were toast on both the axle and the hub. Considered welding the hub to the axle since it was shot anyway but decided to replace, so this meant tearing the entire rear-end apart including removing hydro from rear-end. Ordered new axle, hub, axle seal, o-ring for hydro, new o-rings for hydro lines. Will complete with new filter and the Cub Cadet synthetic gold infused hydro oil...
Now my question will I have to bleed the system when I complete the repair? Or will any trapped air work itself out?
