Looking for some ideas. My wife uses the 2145 hydro to mow with and I don't like the way it mows. It does not cut good at all on the discharge side. It leaves almost a strip of grass that makes you think the belt is not turning the spindle. Now I must tell you that we mow about as high as the deck will go. I put new blades, OEM gator type, on it and it did not change anything. I have looked high and low and I can not see any adjustments on the deck except for the scalp wheels. Any body have thoughts?

The higher the deck more ragged cut you will have as the cut grass and air will likely bend over the grass on the exit side especially if the grass cover is light.
Slow down, lower the deck and if the problem persists look at the deck belt. Suggest cutting at 2.5-3" - if it still cuts lousy you have a deck problem.
