You're going to be disappointed in ag tires if you get deep snow. If I had to do it over again, I'd take cad's suggestion and get some atv radial tires.

I live in northwest PA and we had record breaking snow last year. I use turf tires with as much weight as possible in the rear. No chains. Haven’t had a problem until Christmas day when we had around 4 ft. in just over a days time. The old Cub couldn’t handle it. Other than that I will continue using turfs and weight. I can’t speak for ags, but I would agree with RumbleFish.

Derek it sounds like you’re from the Erie area, my wife is from there. Insane amounts of snow each year.

I would listen to this guy as his people know all about the white stuff

Well being born and raised in SE GA I know nothing about pushing snow!

I do know that whatever tire you use... fill it with fluid and add 50 to 75lbs per side with wheel weights... you will be amazed at the difference in what it will pull or push!
