Well since good cub cadets were being produced, everything has gone up except peoples wages. BAck in the 70's and early 80's people could afford to buy a heavy duty gt. Now a days, we can barely afford to buy cheap junk. I remember a lot of people making $20 a hour in the early 80's. Now I know a lot of people who make $14 a hour 25 years later. Fact of the matter is, is that we just can't afford to buy the nice heacy duty garden tractors anymore. If cub cadet hadn't started making the cheaper models, they would have went belly up a long time ago.

Yeah AJ I think you are corrrect. I had that thought after I posted. Its kind of ironic that 25 years ago CC had maybe 10 garden tractors and 1 or 2 lawn tractors in their line up and now the numbers are reversed. This is just another example of what's happening nowadays.

I couldn't agree more. We run out to Wally World(China World) and buy the cheapest crap because of the low price. We are helping to support the economy of people that hate us. How ironic. I still like the old Cubs better. I like american made products even if its not made as well (I'm not saying it is) I still like to support an American worker.
