Nice 234. It's basically a 3 cylinder diesel powered, sub-compact farm tractor (close in size to a Super but a tad bigger) made by Mitsubishi for International Harvester in the early 80's Neat looking tractor..good find HEMI!!

IMGP0688 [640x480].JPG Thanks, Well I made it home last night, W/ my new used tractor in the dark, just in time to mow a bit!! LOL well just a pass or two. It is as clean as the last owner said it was. I was impressed. I mowed at his house with it before I payed for it. He gave me a good deal. I drove 6.5 hrs one way to buy it. I almost bought a new Farmall in 2006. 25 hp 60" I mowed a few times with it. It was nice, But, too much $$,$$$.$$. I was hooked since. this is as good as it will get for me. It is almost as nice. I LOVE it. It shaved 2.5 hrs mow time the first time out! I want to mow more now!! Here are some new pics.

Here's the 1200 that started me out last year.. Bought it at a tractor show, in the flea market section..

It has been fairly troublefree other than a belt or two and a broken Idler on the 44a mower deck. Lately it has started to act like the throwout bearing is set up.. Gonna have to look into that..

Here's the most recent, a 126 that was partially parted out by a previous owner...

I put the ATV tires on the back so I could roll it around while I find parts to finish it.. and they look so good I might just keep 'em..

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
