Duke must be pilin' them up like cordwood by now!!??
![]() ![]() That is a GREAT looking "O"!! I am thinking about that paint scheme for a 1450 I will be doing. I like how it has more yellow. Take pics and post them as you restore the snowblower. We don't get to see many of those things in real life in the south, so we gotta make due with internet pics!!

Make sure you get the paint that is the original from the right place. It is pricey like $15 a can. I just picked up the CC yellow they sell at Tractor supply for painting a trailer I have and you can surely tell the difference. To me it looks like they must add more orange or red in the original because it is definitely a darker yellow. I'll post some pics with the trailer on my O and you should be able to see the difference. |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
