I run a qa-42 on my 104 and I found wet snow it would really work the engine hard. Fluffy snow it went right through it. I also have a CW-36 that ive had for many years and it seems to work so much better. I gave my son the qa-42 for his 125 and the 12 hp runs the qa 42 much better. Besides,the 42" is over kill for my driveway and sidewalks. I like the 36" because I make 1 pass on the sidewalks and its done.

Having used a cw36 on a 10 hp 102 for many years I too would look for a 36 as a 42 just may be too much thrower.

A 70 with deck. 2 102s both with 42 in decks, one with creeper, 1 36 inch IH snow thrower CW36, 1 42 inch IH blade. 149 with mower. 2072 w 3 pt hitch, Johnny bucket, 60 in mower, 451 blower. Jacobson GT 10 with mower. DR Lawn vac tow behind,Home made lawn roller. Brinly cart, 2 off brand carts and 1 home made cart.
