On my way home from Topeka I did pick up a load of that $2.96 gas just outside KC. For the most part Missouri has the lowest prices on gas from Kansas to PA. I got home and the lowest price here was $3.33.

the station that had it at $2.96 then went to $3.08 today went back to $2.98
after other stations stayed at 2.96
We have a oil pipeline from houston to KC so our prices get low if the demand lowers

Not much of a relief here at $3.38. This dime here and nickel there isn't the relief that I think we need. If they find out you are saving money one way, they will raise something else to get twice as much back from you. Anyway, if I fill my tank and it is a dime cheaper per gallon, then I have only saved $2.50 total, less than the price of a sandwich at Madonna's.

I drive a diesel truck. You guys are all lucky. I paid $3.88 today. If I had filled it.... it's well over $100. I do get decent mileage though. (Compared to a gas motor truck of equal power, or at least as close as you can get with a gas motor.) I'll still keep my diesel.

Even Diesel has dropped quite a bit. But you have to look around. Slow selling stations are still up. But I paid $3.43 this weekend going to the Cub-orama

Don't get too excited. This all maybe an "election ploy" and prices will return to regular rates come Nov 5th.

BTW....$3.40 here in Mid Michigan. I see no price drop.

oh, I am with you guys, seen this election cycle way to many times in my life. The current leaders needed to have a low price to brag about. All I can do is enjoy what should be the norm while it lasts.

Just curious and I don't want to hitch hike, uh.....high jack this thread, but I wonder what the cheapest price anyone on the forum has paid for a gallon of gasoline? I paid $0.25/gallon during a Grand Opening Special at a local retailer but I had to wait in line for 1.5 hrs after midnight!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
